A Nigerian company paid the former American President, Bill Clinton,
$700,000 (N112,910,000), just to speak at an event in Lagos, Nigeria,
according to the New York Times.The New York Times did not disclose the name of the company which handed Clinton the huge sum of money.
According to the newspaper, paid speechmaking has brought the Clintons more than $100 million since Bill left the White House in 2001.
Just a few months after leaving the State Department, Bill’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton plunged into the lucrative world of paid speechmaking.
